I used to play the SEO game to get organic searches for marketing type keywords and also used to post links nearly everywhere I could to round up traffic.  This takes a ton of time. It is a frustrating process and many on the SEO front line(meaning the big network boys) don't play by the rules.

Many Marketers will tell you to build a site and drive traffic to it.  It sounds simple doesn't it?  I can tell you this, while it is simple to set up the site, getting traffic isn't that easy.  Now if you become an authority on a topic, then yes, it will become easier everyday, but what about the new marketer?  The goal is to make money online.
